How it works

Tell us about their day. Tonight, they become the hero.

Speaking is the fastest way in — a short voice note is all it takes. You can also type your summary if the house is already quiet.

  1. Tell us about their day

Record a natural voice summary — a lost tooth, a hard goodbye at the gate, a first dive off the block. Typing works too.

    Voice first, text optional

  2. Watch their world transform it

Real moments become imaginative ones, in the world your family chose.

A playground disagreement a dispute over the Silver Gryphon
A nervous swimming lesson a journey through the Lake of Echoes
  3. Share tonight's adventure

Read it aloud together, or listen to narration, as your child becomes the hero of an illustrated fairy tale sized to their age: a few minutes for the littlest, up to eight for older children.

Picture-book pages Optional narration Length matched to their age

Persistent story world

One world. A new chapter every night.

Unlike a different, disconnected story every night, your child can return to a world that remembers their heroic identity, trusted companions, favorite places, and past adventures — without retaining the private real-life events that inspired them.

You decide what becomes canon. Any story can stay a one-off, left out of the world's memory entirely.

Adventurers' Realm · Chapters

  1. I The Lantern at Ash Bridge
Met Bramble, a fox who keeps promises.
  2. II The Lake of Echoes
    Learned to trust deep water.
  3. III The Silver Gryphon's Claim
    Tonight's story.

Bramble and the Silver Gryphon will be waiting in tomorrow's chapter.

Tonight stays a one-off. Nothing from this story joins their world.

Story worlds

Where will their story unfold?

  • Star Rangers

Planets, robots, alien companions, and cosmic mysteries.

  • Adventurers' Realm

Castles, quests, magical creatures, maps, and heroic parties.

  • Beneath the Tides

Coral cities, sea guardians, underwater kingdoms, and hidden treasure.

  • Hidden Magic

The present-day world, filled with secret doors, enchanted objects, and unseen wonders.

  • Enchanted Kingdom

Dragons, forests, royal courts, spells, and legendary quests.

  • Animal Realm

Talking animals, woodland villages, and mysterious natural worlds.

  • Create Your Own

Describe an original universe in your own words — the one they've been inventing all year — and their stories will unfold there.

Personalized hero

A hero made just for them.

Tell us what they look like and what they are like. Hair, eyes, the missing front tooth, whether they are brave or shy or both. We draw three character concepts from that.

You pick the one that feels like them. That face then stays the same in every illustration, in every story, for as long as they want it.

  • We never ask for a photograph of your child.
  • Only the character you approve is kept.
  • Unchosen concepts and temporary processing files are deleted.
  • Their hero can be redrawn as they grow.

This describes our intended product design and privacy commitment as development continues.

Choose a character concept

The concept you choose becomes their hero. The others are deleted.

Parent and child

Made for bedtime together.

Bedtime Worlds is not a child chatbot, and it is not designed to replace a parent at bedtime. Parents create and control each experience. Children bring their imagination. Together, they return to a world that belongs to them.

  • Parent-owned accounts
  • Parent-provided daily summaries
  • Parent approval on by default
  • A calm picture-book reading mode
  • A choice of narrator voices
  • No child signup
  • No advertising
  • No child-facing purchases
  • No parenting lessons or scripted prompts

Privacy

Child privacy isn't a feature. It's the foundation.

These are the principles we are building the product around, from the first line of code.

You are in control

  • Parent-controlled accounts and profiles.
  • Clear parent controls for viewing and deleting saved information.
  • Minimal collection of child information.

What we never do

  • No advertisements or behavioral profiling.
  • No model training on private family stories.
  • No selling or sharing of family data.

What gets deleted

  • We never ask for photographs of children.
  • Original voice recordings deleted after transcription.
  • Rejected character concepts and temporary processing files deleted.

Final practices will be documented in the Privacy Notice before launch.

FAQ

Questions parents ask

What ages is Bedtime Worlds for?

It is designed for children ages 3 to 8, and for the parent who reads with them. Story length, vocabulary and pacing are matched to their age, so a three-year-old and an eight-year-old get very different stories from the same world.

Does my child use the app independently?

No. The account belongs to you. There is no child signup and no child-facing chat — you create each story and share it together.

Do I need to upload a photograph?

Never. A written description is enough, and we do not ask for a photograph. You describe your child in a few taps and we draw three character concepts for you to choose from. We would rather not hold photographs of children at all.

Will the app remember what happened in my child's real life?

The persistent world remembers fiction — companions, places, quests. The real-life details you share are used to create the story, not kept as part of that memory.

Can we create our own story universe?

Yes. Describe the world in your own words and stories will unfold there, alongside the ready-made worlds.

Can parents review stories before bedtime?

Yes, and approval is on by default. You can read the story first, ask for changes, or set it aside.

Will stories include narration?

Narration is optional, with a choice of voices — for the nights when your own voice has run out.

When will the app launch?

Development is underway. We are not announcing a date yet — launch-list members will hear first.
